There are about 1800 homes in this Gulf Front community with the vast majority of them on the water. The sandy white beach is the Private Beach Club that you will have guest memberships privileges.  The Gulf beaches are very calm, not at all like the Destin / Panama City or Atlantic beaches.

This Florida vacation rental home will help make your vacation a great family experience!

The beautiful Anclote Key Florida vacation home has been remodeled. The sunny skies and palm trees are typical of the days in Florida.

Just bring your clothes and your toothbrush.  Your vacation in this home will be one that your family will remember for years to come. .

This picture shows the great room in this Florida vacation home. The open kitchen is to the left and the living/den area with windows overlooking the screened in porch and the yachts that are moored in the canal.  There is lots of seating in the great room and the pool table in the Florida Room is always a center of activity

The kitchen looks out onto the screened in back porch where the hot tub and one of the picnic tables are.  Breakfast and meals can be eaten at the kitchen table or on the porch at your option.  The kitchen is fully supplied with all eating utensils, dishes, glasses, etc.

Typically, one of the first things that our guest families do is go to the grocery store, which is a short 5 minute drive from the house. This house has everything you need for a great vacation.

 "Master Bedroom"

The Master bedroom has a new king size bed. Every bedroom in this vacation home has a ceiling fan.  Very Florida!

All linens are provided with our homes.  The cleaning crew typically cleans the home the day of your arrival, so it is "spic and span" when you get there.

"The Captains Room"

The second bedroom has a queen size bed.

This home is great for a large family or 2 smaller families can also comfortably fit.

"Crews Quarters"

This is the third bedroom.  It has a set of bunk beds and it also has a day bed with a trundle bed that slides underneath it.

This makes a total of 4 single beds in this bedroom

HEATED SWIMMING pool

This is the shaded porch  with the breakfast (picnic) table and the hot tub and the heated swimming pool..   Your family will enjoy a dip in the warm pool. You can see the boats that are at the neighbors house.  This canal has an occasional boat coming or going up and down the canal so it is interesting.   I have also seen porpoise and a manatee in the canal.  The porpoise are more often seen than the manatee.

Canal view west toward Gulf of Mexico. From the dock in the back yard it is a "straight shot" to the Gulf of Mexico.  If you are a boater, you can use our boat or bring your own.  Our dock will accommodate boats from tiny up to 28ft.  Several folks have brought 26' Mako or Contender boats. There are numerous "tropical islands" for you to visit and explore by boat and the fishing is GREAT.  We have had 1 guest that has come every year since 1998 and he says the fishing is getting better every year!

Anclote Key vacation home
Looking to the east from the back yard you can see one of the 2 ramps that lead to out oversize floating dock and the 45ft sailboat moored behind the neighbors home.  Looking down the canal you can see lots of boats and the houses on the opposite side of the canal.  At the end of this canal there is a pontoon rental place where you can rent a pontoon boat for the day. CLICK HERE to see their web site.   I

Weekly Pontoon boat rental .If you are interested in renting a pontoon boat for the entire week, then there is a fellow in the community that can set you up and you can keep the pontoon boat at our dock. CLICK HERE for weekly pontoon boat rental information

Looking across the canal there is a large power boat moored.  You can see that the canal is very wide.  The oversize dock has a picnic table on it.  Notice the small brown box on the left side of the dock.  This is a "night light" that shines down into the water.  This attracts fish like snook and tarpon.  These 2 to 3 ft long fish can sometimes be seen hanging out under the dock at night.  Kids can catch small fish from the dock day or night.  The speckled trout, red fish, etc. are just at the end of the canal hanging out in the grass flats.

Great Fishing

Speaking of speckled trout (specks) hanging out in the grass flats, that is where our guest, the gentleman on the left, caught these 2 HUGH Speckled Sea Trout (Specks) about 1 mile from this vacation home.  You can bring your boat or use ours.  If you are like me, you can hear fish like these calling your name, asking where you are and why you are not fishing !!!

The fellow on the right is Rich Knox, one of the premier fishing guides on this coast of Florida.

Use our boat or bring your own!
This is one of our guests in their own boat at the island named Anclote Key State Park . We have Aluminum fishing boats with 15hp motors that are available for your use. They are perfect for fishing the grass flats in the area and for going out to the beautiful islands that are about 4 miles from shore.  During the week these tropical islands are truly paradise and they are virtually "deserted " because the only way to get to the island is by boat.
Our Boats
If you are interested in using one of our boats while you are here Click Here to get LOTS of info about out boats. Our boats are 14 ft long and 5 ft wide with 15 hp motors on them.  When our son was 12 years old he and his 12 year old buddies were going out to the islands in these boats. The water between the homes and the island is about 12ft deep at the deepest points.  The islands can be seen from shore, so it is not like you are going out to the "deep blue sea".

This ariel photo shows the Gulf Harbors Beach Community and the Private Beach Club  for members and guests of the beach club.

There are about 1800 homes in this Gulf side community with the vast majority of them on the water. Some of the homes are on the golf course, and these are not on the water.

This Florida vacation rental home will help make your vacation a great family experience!

This is one of the picnic tables at  the Gulf Harbors Beach Club.  It is a private beach with  cabanas, BBQ grills and picnic tables.

This is MUCH NICER than anything at Clearwater beach.  When you go to Clearwater beach, there are NO picnic tables, NO BBQs. If you want to be in the shade, you have to "rent the shade" from an umbrella vendor !.  An you can drive right up to the beach here.  At Clearwater, you have to pay to park then walk and walk and walk to get to the beach.

The sunsets from the private beach club are breath taking.

This is picture of my wife, Suzanne, sitting on a rock at the Gulf Harbors Beach Club, enjoying one of the gorgeous sunsets.

Some residents in the community, drive down to the Beach Club just to watch the sunsets...
This Florida vacation rental home will help make your vacation a great family experience!
